1. About the App

Nangman Postcard is an iPhone app for creating and sharing handwritten or photo postcards, either as an image or as a handwriting replay link. Registration is not required. The free launch version does not include third-party advertising or advertising tracking SDKs.

2. Information Processed on Your Device

Photos, text and handwriting used while editing a postcard are processed in the app. If you choose to save an image, the app requests permission to add it to Apple Photos. Sharing uses the iOS system share sheet.

3. Information Uploaded When You Send a Replay Link

When you select “Add Stamp & Send,” the app uploads a background image (which may contain your photo, recipient and sender names, and note) and handwriting stroke data, including coordinates, order, and timing. Anyone who has the link can view the postcard during its availability period. Recipients do not need an account or the app.

For a scheduled postcard, the server keeps the content sealed until the chosen opening time.

4. Stamps and Abuse Prevention

For complimentary stamp balances, the app creates a random identifier stored in iOS Keychain. The server stores a hash of this identifier and a ledger of monthly grants and stamp usage. To prevent misuse, the server may also process hashed IP information, postcard creation times and file sizes. We do not use these identifiers for ad targeting or cross-service tracking.

5. Retention and Deletion

Standard replay postcards can be viewed for 10 days after upload. For scheduled postcards, the recipient can open the postcard only at or after the chosen opening time (up to one year after sending), and the content can then be viewed for 10 days. Expired links stop serving content, and stored postcard content is purged. If you revoke a link from the share screen, the shared content is deleted immediately. Hashed identifiers and operational ledger records may be retained separately for security, anti-abuse, and service administration. Images saved to your device remain under your control in Photos.

6. Third Parties

The app may use Apple Photos, Apple's photo picker, and the system share sheet. When you deliberately share through KakaoTalk, Messages, or another service, that service's terms and policies apply. We do not sell the contents of your postcards to advertisers.

7. Your Rights and Contact

You can revoke links immediately after creating them on the send screen. For questions about access, correction, deletion or other privacy rights, contact [email protected]. Requests are handled in accordance with applicable law.

8. Changes

This policy may be updated when the app or applicable law changes. Updates will be published here with their effective date.
